SLA information book award

The School Library Association information book award shortlist of seven titles has been announced that are excellent additions to a primary school libraries and ideal for encouraging children to read non-fiction for pleasure as well as learning.

Children can join other schools, libraries, reading clubs and similar organisations in voting for their favourite book.

The voting form is on the School Library Association website (www.sla.org.uk) and voting closes on 27th October 2018

Sets of the books can be ordered through the Schools Library Service (send us an email to schoolslibraryservices@towerhamlets.gov.uk) for £65 or from your usual supplier.
