Some of the best children’s books in five European languages

The Schools Library Service is hosting the annual Eurotoolbox exhibition of the best in children’s books in European languages, featuring books in French, German, Italian, Portuguese and Spanish and new this year – Polish.
The authors and illustrators selected represent some of the very best in children’s books in these languages for both primary and secondary pupils.
All teachers are particularly invited to drop in at our Languages Resources Evening at the Schools Library Service between 4pm and 6pm on Tuesday 23rd May when the Advisory Teacher for Primary Languages, Michelle O’Connor will be present to discuss teaching and learning in MFL and our wide range of resources to support language teaching can be perused with a cup of tea or a glass of wine!
The Exhibition runs until Friday 16th June and is at the Schools Library Service, PDC, 229, Bethnal Green Road, E2 6AB
This travelling exhibition is put together and organised by the Italian Cultural Institute, Goethe-Institut, Institut Francais, Polish Cultural Institute, Instituto Cervantes and Instituto Camoes in London.
The Eurotoolbox is a travelling exhibition that is updated annually. We buy a selection of books from each list to stock with our dual-language collection.
